Product Overview

The Xeta9-E / Xeta9-EL is XetaWave’s flagship industrial radio, engineered for long-range, high-performance wireless communication in SCADA and industrial networking environments.

As the industry’s first FCC-approved dual-band ISM/MAS radio, it supports both licensed and unlicensed 900 MHz (902–960 MHz) operation within a single device. Adjustable transmit power allows fine-tuned RF performance — up to 1W in the ISM band and up to 3W in MAS.

Designed for flexible deployments, the radio supports:

• Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint networks
• Multi-Speed Multi-Point™ operation (high and low speed remotes on one master)
• Over-the-air firmware updates and diagnostics
• Automatic configuration (endpoints pull config from access point)
• Serial (RS-232/RS-485) and Ethernet interfaces

With high receiver sensitivity and optimized link budgets, the Xeta9 enables extended communication ranges of over 70 miles under optimal RF conditions, while maintaining high throughput — up to 3.5 Mbps at 20 miles.

Optional configurations include programmable I/O expansion, dual radio bridging, and GPS-synchronized multi-master operation for advanced network architectures.
